CRASH OF A VENTURA
AT CAMDEN, NSW
ON 21 AUGUST 44

RAAF Ventura, A59-66, ex Bu. 48750, c/n 5986, was damaged beyond repair at Camden in New South Wales on 21 August 1944, when its undercarriage collapsed on landing.

This aircraft was originally received by the RAAF at 2AD on 16 January 1944. It was then received into 13 Squadron RAAF on 29 March 1944. Approval was given to convert the wreck to components on 24 October 1944.
